Product Manager for Configuration tool

ComAp Product Manager is a member of the Product Management team and is responsible for the given product line, in this case, our configuration tool called InteliConfig. This product is an integral part of ComAp solutions for a variety of applications such as standby or prime power generation, combined heat and power generation, fire and irrigation pumps, compressors or marine emergency, auxiliary and propulsion control.

Your main responsibilities will be the following:

  • InteliConfig lifecycle management (creation of specifications, planning of upgrades, reaction to the market situation, succession plans, product launch, etc.)
  • Dealing with customer requirements and assisting customers with their issues related to your product (in cooperation with the technical support department)
  • Monitoring the market, competition and new trends in the specific market segments
  • Benchmarking competitors´ commercial offerings
  • Promotion of InteliConfig towards distributors and customers
  • Keeping customers happy with our current product portfolio
  • Looking for technology trends in this area and ensure long-term product success

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • University degree in electrical engineering, IT or similar technical field
  • Ability to find out and deliver what our customers need, while keeping an eye on business goals & objectives
  • An interest in digital products and UI/UX design
  • Knowledge of all stages of the product lifecycle and ability to manage all aspects of the product line. Experience in Product management in B2B would be an advantage
  • Drive and result orientation in complex tasks combined with business thinking and strong analytical mind
  • Ability to work independently and also to liaise with colleagues across the whole company
  • Good command of English and Czech/Slovak
  • Willingness for short travels approx. once a month (exhibitions, conferences, customers’ and suppliers’ visits)
